Rooted in Jewish values, love, justice and connectedness
Connected to the source of being (whatever that means to you), our relationship with Jewish culture, history, spirituality, learning and tradition, our relationship with creative, spiritual and lay leaders and our relationship with our community and with the world
Dynamic, universal, responsive, alive and inventive Magnetic and attracts, invites, nurtures and sustains

Some examples of the projects we have supported include:

A leading edge Jewish community in Los Angeles that seeks to inspire individuals across the religious spectrum. IKAR is reimagining Jewish life through creative engagement with ritual, spiritual practice and a commitment to social justice.

PJ Library is a national initiative that reaches over 11,000 Jewish children in Los Angeles alone. PJ Library provides Jewish families with children’s books as a tool to learn about Judaism, Jewish history, Israel and Jewish life around the world. By reading to the child or with the child a connection with Jewish people is created. Glazer Philanthropies is proud to support this effort locally and nationally through our participation in the PJ Alliance. PJ Library reflects our deep interest in reaching Jewish families of all types and providing a point of access for them and their children to become engaged with their faith and community.

Nefesh is an open hearted spiritual community within the community at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, one of the largest congregations in Los Angeles. Led by Rabbi Susan Goldberg and the Nefesh musicians, Nefesh is committed to reaching and involving members of the diverse Los Angeles Jewish community in meaningful engagement with their faith and community. Combining Jewish learning with music filled Shabbat services, Nefesh nourishes the soul and provides opportunities for those seeking spiritual substance, friendship and involvement.
